A&W burger sizes?
Are all the burgers 6oz at A&W? not including double burgers of course.
Thanks
I went to their menu but doesn't tell me how much weight the meat is.

I wonder if it's true that A&W quit advertising their 1/3 pound burgers because most Americans thought that 1/3 was smaller than McDonald's quarter pounder.

Isn't serving size including weight of all items on the burger as well?

It's usually the weight of the meat before cooking.

Hmm so teen burger =230grams=1/2 pound and uncle burger =254 grams= 1/2 pound and a bit
Guess I really wanted to know which burger is the largest in terms of meat. LOL

Err... yeah I read your post wrong.
Serving size is everything including bun/toppings/meat/etc.

Grandpa has the most meat. Mama, Papa, Grandpa all are same, just single, double, triple patty. I think teen is same as mama/papa, just has bacon tomato. They do charge extra to add tomato to the others. Uncle burger is different size patty (different beef cuts).
Most value is with grandpa, often it is $7 with bacon and cheese.

Way better than McDonalds.
Screw McDs .... they have downsized all their burgers but the prices have been upsized.
If you're paying McD prices ... I'd rather go to South Street ... Five Guys ...

True enough. If McDonald's patties get any smaller, they could just squeeze and spread them out of condiment bottles.
