Unleash the Power: Unlocking the Necrofluid Gauntlet in Black Ops 7 Zombies
Imagine wielding a weapon as mighty as Marvel's Infinity Gauntlet, but with a sinister twist! That's the promise of the Necrofluid Gauntlet, a wonder weapon in Black Ops 7's Ashes of the Damned. But is it truly a game-changer, or just another grind? Let's dive in and find out!
Building the Necrofluid Gauntlet: A Step-by-Step Guide
Confront Uber Klaus: In round 8 or later, head to the Janus Tower Plaza and prepare for a battle. Face off against the formidable Uber Klaus, a familiar foe from BO6's Reckoning map. He'll drop a crucial chip, so make sure he doesn't escape!
Find Friendly Klaus: It's time to visit Ashwood and use the zipline to access the garage. Open the first door on your left, and you'll find Sheriff's Office. Inside, you'll encounter a captive Klaus. Stun him with 3-4 grenades, and he'll become your ally. Now, you can control Klaus with a simple button press.
Retrieve the Canister: Your next destination is Zarya Cosmodrome (aka Ascension). Find the room below the rocket, and use Klaus to interact with the scanner. Stand your ground on the red light, and keep the zombies at bay with Kazimir grenades. If Klaus perishes, fear not! You can purchase a friendly bot from radios scattered across the map.
Fill the Canister with Dark Aether Energy: After scanning, collect the canister near the switch. Be cautious; you can't run while carrying it. Keep one zombie alive and embark on a journey with Ol' Tessie.
Purify the Aether Machines: There are 3 Aether machines to purify: Ashwood's bridge, Farm, and Blackwater Lake. Start at Blackwater, interact with the machine, and collect the filled canister. Repeat the process at Ashwood's bridge, but remember the timer! Finally, head to Vanrodn Farm and place the canister in the open-area machine.
The Cube Puzzle: Descend to the basement in Vandron Farm and interact with the cube. It will glow, indicating it's ready for the next step. The cube displays 3 symbols and an eye. The symbols must be in the right order, and the eye activates the puzzle. The code is revealed on the rooftops of Vandorn Farm buildings when you use the launch pad in Farm.
Write down the code, return to the cube, and enter it. Interacting with the eye triggers a lockdown. Shoot and eliminate the glowing green spores on the walls. It's a simple puzzle, but crucial to unlocking the Necrofluid Gauntlet.
The Verdict: Is the Necrofluid Gauntlet Worth the Effort?
While it boasts infinite ammo, the Necrofluid Gauntlet falls short in power. I'd prefer a weapon with limited ammo that could take down the Zursa bears. And even with Pack-A-Punch upgrades, I'm not convinced it justifies the grind. What do you think? Is the Necrofluid Gauntlet a must-have, or a missed opportunity? Share your thoughts in the comments!
