The REMAX Network: A Global Force for Good
Empowering Communities, One Act of Kindness at a Time
In a world where real estate often dominates headlines, the REMAX Network stands out as a beacon of community support and generosity. Their fifth annual Global REMAX Week, held from October 5th to 11th, showcased the incredible impact this network has on a global scale.
/PRNewswire/ REMAX, the undisputed leader in real estate, united its global family - from regions to individual agents - in a week-long celebration of giving back. With a presence spanning over 110 countries and territories, REMAX demonstrated that their commitment to community knows no bounds.
"REMAX is about more than just real estate; it's about the people and places we serve," said Shawna Gilbert, REMAX Senior Vice President of Global and Commercial. "Global REMAX Week embodies our mission, allowing our offices and agents to make a difference in the communities they call home."
But here's where it gets controversial... or rather, inspiring. The diversity of the REMAX network was on full display during this week of giving. From blood donation drives in Mongolia to school supply donations in Côte d'Ivoire, and from breast cancer awareness galas in the Cayman Islands to pet supply drives in Ecuador, the initiatives were as varied as they were impactful.
In Mongolia, REMAX partnered with the National Center for Transfusion Medicine for a Blood Donation Day. Over 60 agents and staff participated, potentially saving hundreds of lives. Tsolmon Nyamsuren, Region Development Director for REMAX Mongolia, shared, "We are more than just real estate agents; we are a force for positive change. Each donation is a powerful act of compassion and a testament to the REMAX spirit."
And this is the part most people miss: the personal touch. Constant Tanflotien, Region Owner of REMAX Côte d'Ivoire, emphasized the human connection: "Being part of the REMAX network is about so much more than real estate transactions. It's about the lives we touch and the communities we strengthen. Supporting the children of Centre Omega International is our way of investing in the future of Côte d'Ivoire."
REMAX Cayman Islands took a multi-pronged approach, supporting causes like breast cancer awareness and organizations like Meals on Wheels. Meanwhile, REMAX Dominican Republic and REMAX Ecuador focused on animal welfare, donating pet supplies to local shelters. These initiatives showcase the network's ability to adapt and respond to the unique needs of each community.
Even the employees at REMAX World Headquarters got involved, participating in blood drives, writing cards for children in hospitals, and cleaning up parks in Denver. Erik Carlson, CEO of RE/MAX Holdings, Inc., summed it up perfectly: "REMAX affiliates and staff are incredibly generous, and Global REMAX Week is a testament to their dedication to making a difference. It's the power of teamwork in action, and it's what makes REMAX unique."
The impact of Global REMAX Week will continue to resonate, with the next edition scheduled for October 4th to 10th, 2026. As the network grows, so does its potential to create positive change. So, what do you think? Is this a model for corporate social responsibility that others should follow? We'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments!
